There are Swedes who keep viking traditions alive. Here there is a ~~rune~~ stone raised on April 25, 1987.

Добралась, но недолго держалась - только неделю в этом году. :)
Хотя в эти выходные опять внезапно подогрелось выше ожидаемых температур, в пятницу-субботу я чуть не расплавилась от неожиданности...

I was surprized to see this stone. I though at first it was a real ancient runestone as they are quite many here.
And now I can't quite help but wonder about the purpose with this stone. It only states the name of the village, the date it was raised and the names of some people (who probably did all this). :)
